Dogan, Navajo, Zuni and Apache Tribes

Apache Navajo Zuni along with the Dogans of South Africa have similarity in their oral history, although they are on different continents.

In ancient drawings, and traditions, the Dogan supposedly carry a heritage of astronomical knowledge and religious belief. They even knew about a small star near Sirius (Sirius B) that modern astronomers did not see until 1970, a star not visible to the naked eye. They also know that the little star orbits Sirius every fifty years, an event that they commemorate.
